Gunsmithing FAQ
Q: Do you clean all types of firearms?
Yes. We clean pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns. Pricing is based on time and complexity. Basic cleanings typically start around $80.
Q: Can I drop off my firearm without an appointment?
We recommend calling ahead, but walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours. Firearms are accepted in a cleared and cased condition only.
Q: What if my firearm needs to be sent to your partner gunsmith?
We’ll provide an estimated cost and turnaround time before sending your firearm out. All firearms are logged, tracked, and insured while in transit and during service.
Q: Can I provide my own parts?
Yes, though we recommend verified parts from reputable manufacturers. If an aftermarket part doesn’t fit or function properly, additional labor may be billed.
Q: Do I need to do another background check when I pick up my firearm?
If the firearm was left in our possession overnight or transferred to a partner gunsmith, yes — federal law requires a new 4473 form and background check before it can be released back to you.
Q: How can I get a quote?
You can use our Contact Form or email us directly with your firearm’s make, model, and the service you’re interested in. Include photos if possible for a faster estimate.
