Faith First Firearms was born from a simple but powerful calling — to combine a love for God, country, and responsible firearm ownership into something that could truly make a difference.
As someone who has always believed in faith, discipline, and lifelong learning, I saw a need for a place where those values could come together. Too often, people are handed a firearm without the proper training or understanding of the responsibility that comes with it. I wanted to change that.
Our journey began with a desire to serve — to create a business where education and safety came first, where people felt welcome regardless of experience level, and where faith was not just a slogan but the foundation of every decision we make.

Meet Our Founder
Faith First Firearms was founded by Robert “Bob” Floyd, a man whose life reflects the same core values that define the business — faith, preparedness, service, and responsibility.
As an Eagle Scout, Bob learned early the importance of being prepared for anything. That foundation — “Be Prepared”— shaped not just how he approaches life, but also how he approaches firearm ownership, training, and stewardship. For Bob, preparedness isn’t about fear — it’s about faith, wisdom, and being ready to protect and serve when called upon.
Bob’s journey in life has been one of transformation and purpose. After dedicating his life to Christ, he felt called to help others grow stronger — physically, mentally, and spiritually. That same calling inspired him to create Faith First Firearms: a company built on trust, education, and Biblical principles of stewardship and responsibility.
Beyond firearms, Bob is deeply involved in his church community, brotherhood, and faith in action. His life and business both reflect the belief that God calls us to be protectors, providers, and leaders — prepared in both spirit and skill.
He’s a firm believer that every day is an opportunity to sharpen your skills, strengthen your walk with God, and serve others.
