A consultation is about guidance and education — there is no pressure, and not every consultation results in a purchase.
Who firearm consultations are for
Consultations are open to anyone who wants clearer, unhurried guidance. They are often helpful for:

We may note options that may be worth considering based on what you share, but we avoid claiming any firearm is “best,” “perfect,” or guaranteed to fit. Availability is subject to change, additional training may be recommended, and the final selection remains the customer’s decision.
How the consultation process works
- Complete the request form below with as much detail as you are comfortable sharing.
- A member of our team reviews your request and follows up using your preferred contact method.
- Together we talk through your questions, purpose, and responsible next steps.
- If an in-person meeting is appropriate, we schedule it by appointment. We are online-first and appointment-only.
What to consider before you request a consultation
A few minutes of reflection can make your consultation more useful. It helps to think about:
- What you would primarily like guidance on
- Your general experience level and comfort with firearms
- Whether the firearm would be carried, stored at home, used at a range, or used for hunting
- Whether size, weight, or reduced recoil matter to you
- Any physical considerations that may affect handling
- Whether you already own compatible ammunition or accessories
- Whether training may be helpful before purchasing
- Your general availability and preferred way to connect
Consultation format and availability
Consultations are available by phone, by video, or in person by appointment. We are an online-first, appointment-only business, so please share your general availability and we will coordinate a time that works.
A consultation request is not the same as requesting an FFL transfer pickup appointment. If you are ready to schedule a transfer pickup, please use the Request an Appointment page instead.
Consultation cost and terms
Consultation pricing is determined case by case and confirmed at the time of booking. In some circumstances, the consultation may be provided at no additional cost with a qualifying purchase. Any applicable pricing, purchase qualification, and service terms will be clearly explained before the booking is completed.
What a consultation does not include
So expectations are clear, a consultation:
- Provides general education and customer guidance only
- Does not establish legal eligibility to purchase or possess a firearm
- Does not guarantee background-check approval
- Does not reserve a firearm
- Does not guarantee inventory, pricing, or availability
- Does not replace professional firearms training
- Does not constitute legal advice
- Does not automatically create an appointment
- Does not guarantee that Faith First Firearms will accept any transaction or service request
- Does not include NFA transfer services
