Selling a firearm can feel overwhelming, from navigating federal regulations to finding a trustworthy buyer. That’s why Faith First Firearms offers a secure, transparent, and fully compliant firearm consignment service to help you sell safely, legally, and efficiently.
We handle all the details, including advertising, listing, paperwork, background checks, and payment, so you can focus on what matters most: getting a fair value for your firearm with peace of mind.
Our Consignment Process
Schedule an Appointment
- Consignments are handled by appointment only for your safety and to ensure adequate time for evaluation.
- You can schedule through our Contact Us Pageor by phone/email.
- Firearms must be unloaded before arrival.
Evaluation & Agreement
- We’ll inspect and appraise your firearm based on current market values, model condition, demand, and comparable sales.
- You’ll receive a written Consignment Agreement that includes the estimated sale price, consignment fee, and consignment period (typically 90 days).
Marketing & Sale
- Your firearm will be listed in-store and online at faithfirstfirearms.com and shared through our social channels and partner networks.
- We’ll manage all buyer inquiries, background checks, and final transactions under ATF regulations.
Payment
- Once the firearm is sold and funds have cleared, we will issue payment (via check or electronic transfer) minus the consignment fee.
Pricing
- Consignment Fee: 15% of the final sale price or a minimum of $50 per firearm (whichever is greater).
- Listing Fee: A non-refundable listing fee of $35 will be collected before any firearm is accepted for Consignment.
- Price Adjustments: After 60 days, we may recommend adjusting the listed price based on market activity.
- Storage & Abandonment Policy will apply to firearms unclaimed for more than 30 days after the consignment agreement has expired.
- Background Check Fee: A fee of $25 for will be charged for a background check at the time of pickup.
Policy & Legal Requirements
All consignment transactions comply with ATF, state, and local firearm laws.
If your firearm does not sell, a background check (Form 4473) must be completed before the firearm is released, even if it was originally yours.
