About Faith First Firearms

Faith First Firearms is a family-owned, federally licensed firearms business in Central Texas. We are an online-first retailer, and we handle transfers and in-person services by appointment only. We are not a walk-in retail storefront.

What we are trying to be is simpler than a slogan: a trusted guide. Somebody you can ask a question you think is obvious, and get a straight answer without being sold to.

Our story

Faith First Firearms began with a conviction that responsible firearm ownership and faith belong in the same conversation. Not as a marketing angle — as the actual reason to do this carefully.

Firearm buying is intimidating for a lot of people. The vocabulary is unfamiliar, the paperwork is unfamiliar, and the industry does not always make it easy to ask a beginner question. We built this business around the opposite instinct: explain first, and let the customer decide.

Our mission

To equip, educate, and support every customer we work with — so that people do not just own a firearm, but understand it, store it responsibly, and are confident in how they handle it.

That means we would rather spend time on a question than rush a sale. It means we tell you when something is not a good fit. And it means we say plainly when a question is outside what we can answer, and point you to someone who can.

How we work

Online-first. Our catalog is online, and most customers meet us there. Applicable firearms ship to a receiving licensed dealer and transfer in accordance with federal, state, and local law — never directly to a customer where that would be improper.

Appointment-only. FFL transfers and firearm consultations are scheduled by appointment. That is deliberate: it means you get dedicated time and privacy rather than a queue.

Education before pressure. We publish the explanations we would give you in person, so you can think it through on your own time.

We do not provide firearm training. Instruction, classes, and Texas License to Carry education are handled by our related brand, First Shot Training. They are a separate brand with their own instructors and their own schedule.

What we believe

Three commitments, always in this order.

Faith. Our faith is the reason we operate the way we do — honestly, patiently, and with respect for the person in front of us. We are not here to preach at you. We are here to be worth trusting.

Safety. Non-negotiable, and taught rather than assumed. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire. Know your target and what is beyond it.

Responsibility. The outcome of the first two. Lawful ownership, secure storage, honest self-assessment, and a willingness to keep learning.

Family-owned

Faith First Firearms is family-owned and values-led. We are active in our community — gun shows, workshops, builder events, and church and community programs — because we think the conversation about responsible ownership is better had in person than in an advertisement.

Our workshops and community events are not firearm training and are never presented as instruction.

Our commitment

We commit to operating with honesty, integrity, and respect: to educate before we sell, to be transparent about what a service does and does not include, to be clear about what we cannot answer, and to decline a transaction when compliance or safety requires it.

We will not tell you a firearm is the best, the safest, or right for everyone. No firearm is. We will help you think through what fits you.

Faith.  Safety.  Responsibility.

Trusted guidance for every firearm owner.
Faith. Safety. Responsibility.
